Donald Trump and his family is going through a very difficult time. His brother Robert Trump passed away at the age of 71. Robert has later admitted to NewYork–Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Donald Trump even came to visit his brother. As per some reports, Robert had intracerebral haemorrhage due to a fall. Donald Trump took to Twitter to announce the death of his brother. Donald tweeted, “It is with a heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight. He was not just my brother; he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again.”
Joe Biden Extends His Support To Donald Trump
They might not look at each other eye to eye, especially with the elections coming very soon. However, they still have each other’s back in tough times like the loss of a family member. Joe Biden, Trump’s counterpart for the elections, took to Twitter to express his condolences. He tweeted,
“Mr President, Jill, and I are sad to learn of your younger brother Robert’s passing. I know the tremendous pain of losing a loved one — and I know how important family is in moments like these. I hope you know that our prayers are with you all.”
Kamala Harris Offers Her Condolence To Donald Trump
Kamala Harris is the vice-presidential nominee of the Democratic Party for the 2020 US election. She also offered her condolence to Trump after the death of his brother. She continued her tweet from where Biden had left.
“Doug and I join the Biden family in sending our deepest condolences and prayers to the entire Trump family during this difficult time,” She said. “Losing a loved one is never easy but know that we are thinking of you.”
Robert Trump Was Proud Of His Brother Donald
Trump’s son-in-law tweeted that Robert was very proud of his brother. Robert and Donald have fought with each other over various matters in the past. However, when it came to his political career, Donald Trump always got backing from his brother. Robert supported him throughout his first campaign and presidency.
