China Suspends Poultry Imports From Tyson Foods
Regardless of being one of the topmost companies to export poultry products, Tyson Foods did not abide by the laws introduced through this pandemic. Several controversies entailed such as- environmental damage, price manipulation, animal damage, and undisclosed usage of antibiotics.
Moreover, Tyson foods did not implement social distancing to protect its workforce. They did not consider wearing face masks for protection.
On Sunday, China announced that they are suspending imports on Tyson Foods, as over 100 workers have tested positive for COVID 19. China’s General Administration of Customs office announced that the company (Tyson Foods) “recently occurred employes with new pneumonia aggregation infection.”
The authorities took a brash step when Tyson Foods revealed that 199 of its 1100 employees at the Springdale facility are tested positive. In May, the company announced that 570 workers have tested positive at its processing facility in Wilkes County, N.C.

The Coronavirus outbreak emerged from Wuhan, China, in late December 2019. The outbreak has halted the whole world, and it doesn’t seem to stop. The cases are increasing, but the citizens don’t seem to realize the importance of social distancing.
