Barack Obama Recalls Chadwick Boseman’s Visit To White House

The fans of Chadwick Boseman are in deep shock after hearing about his demise. Many people including Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have expressed their condolences to the family members of Chadwick. Latest to join this list is former President Barack Obama. Obama posted about his death and recalled an incident from his days in the Oval Office when Chadwick was playing Jackie Robinson. He said, β€œChadwick came to the White House to work with kids when he was playing Jackie Robinson. You could tell right away that he was blessed.”

Barack Obama Praises Chadwick Boseman For Working In Pain

Chadwick’s family mentioned in their statement that he acted for many movies while he was under treatment for cancer. However, he never took his fame for granted and worked without letting anyone know of his condition. Barack Obama praised him for what he has carved out for himself as a black man under pain. He further said, β€œTo be young, gifted, and Black; to use that power to give them heroes to look up to; to do it all while in pain – what use of his years.”

Michelle Obama Remembers Chadwick Boseman’s Performance

The next to post about Chadwick was the former First Lady and wife of Barack Obama- Michelle Obama. She remembered his performance from many movies which has earned him a lot of critical acclaims. Chadwick was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2016 but that did not stop him from moving to make more films for his fans. β€œOnly Chadwick could embody Jackie Robinson, Thurgood Marshall, and T’Challa,” Michelle’s caption said. β€œHe, too, knew what it meant to persevere. To summon real strength.”

Michelle Obama Calls Chadwick Boseman A Hero For Black Children

Michelle Obama also pointed out how important Chadwick is for the Black people as his life is an example of hard work and working against the odds. She called him a β€˜hero’ for the black community after the name he has won for himself in the entertainment industry. Her caption further read,
β€œAnd he belongs right there with them as a heroβ€”for Black kids and for all our kids. There’s no better gift to give our world.”
