Bollywood Movies: Ludo- Chhalaang:
Chhalaang is a movie based on practical issues of our daily lives. Under the direction of Hansal Mehta, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha as the prominent leading roles. The movie was featured on Amazon Prime video only on 12th November 2020.
The makers launched this movie as the Diwali Dhamaka to the fans. The film revolves around a melodrama based on general issues that people face in their daily lives. Talking about its dialogues, it is an excellent filmy drama story.
Bollywood Movies: Ludo- Chhalaang, Role play:
As you guys already know Rajkummar Rao, who’s famous for his ability to mould himself in every type of character and genre. In Chhalaang, he portrays Montu, who’s a Physical Training Instructor. He goes through many hard times in the story but comes out as a king. Earlier, he was careless about his job but later on, he starts considering it and his efforts too.
Nushrat Bharucha is popularly known as Punchnama girl. In this movie, she plays Neelu, who’s an ordinary computer teacher. Her role was not that much highlighted, as all the drama eventually highlighted Rajkummar Rao. Anyway, she did a fantastic job.
The music part of the movie was covered by Hitesh Sonik, Guru Randhawa, Yo Yo Honey Singh, and Vishal-Shekhar. These singers are some of the best singers, but unfortunately, they didn’t grab much attention from fans. At the same time, the title track worked out well.
Ratings of Chhalaang:
Featuring these amazing actors resulted negatively because of the story of the movie. There were no twists, nothing; everything was so predictable. And that’s why the film is nothing more than just an average.
This movie was a colossal disappointment, personally to me. It’s just a one time watch hardly, expecting things in the film would be wrong. It is just an essential drama. I would say that even Thugs of Hindustan was much better than it.
Chhalaang Rating – 2.5/5 | Grade – C+
Talking about ludo, Ludo is life; life is ludo. Anurag Basu, who’s the director of this movie, is popularly known for his iconic characters and storylines. He has a unique way to look at the cinematic world. Alike his other film, this one too has a complete drama.
Ludo is a film where four different stories intersect each other and lead to a wild climax. This movie is fantastic; it includes crime, greed, money, and love overlap. Such films are so tough to put together, and it becomes next to impossible to interact with the audience through the story. But Anurag Basu did it gracefully.
Pankaj Tripathi has portrayed himself in such a beautiful way; doing ludo was a massive success for him in his career. He can mould himself into any character; he is just an all-rounder actor. Talking about ludo and skipping Abhishek Bachchan would be impossible, the actor has shown his best version in the movie, especially in emotional scenes. He’s a legend just like his father.
Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh, who are famous as ‘Dangal’ girls, once again showed what the real chemistry between two iconic performers is. They are always up for adventurous roles.
Ratings of Ludo:
But the negative side of the movie was, all these four stories tangled between each other and it stretched the cinema a little long. It leads to a lack of interaction between the information and the audience. It succeeds due to the beautiful vision of Anurag Basu. But ain’t was a blockbuster.
Ludo Rating – 3.5/5 | Grade – B+
But anyway, if we have to choose between Ludo and Chhalaang, then 101% of Ludo wins. There’s no doubt in this. Although the actors did a fantastic job, the more exciting and unpredictable story is of Ludo.
