In recent years, even Airtel and Jio have enabled Wi-Fi calling eSIM features.
Likely the update is held up for additional carrier testing to make sure these features work as intended.

A Google spokesperson, in a statement, revealed that the company is working for the betterment. They want to make the Android 11 update “compatible” with India’s ecosystem requirements.

According to Google, they don’t generally sell in considerable numbers in the country, with plenty of great phones to choose from at all price points. India is a pretty competitive market in terms of technology.

Exceptional Phone

Pixel 3a series is exceptional as an opening for itself. With no launch of Pixel 4, and the Pixel 4a 5g or the Pixel 5, only Pixel 4a is launched by Google in India. It won’t be available in the country until October.

Pixel series stands out because of its outstanding ability to install day-one Android updates.

Not being able to use this feature in India till late October of this year is frustrating for Indian users. If you’re an Indian, users know you might have to wait a little longer before getting all the facilities in your all-new Android 11.
