Check Out: The US Presidential Debate Between Trump And Biden And How Political Observers Weigh In: As the election date comes, there are numerous debates and discussions about who will win this Presidential election.
On Tuesday night, the first presidential debate took place, and it will not be wrong to say that there were no winners.
Everyone is up for fight and disagreement, but everyone, including liberals, conservatives, and independent observers, will agree that America lost.
This debate was a low point in political discourse.
When Biden spoke, he spoke for a wide array of audiences.
President Trump’s repetitive interruptions would anger anyone, and after a long time holding back, Joe snapped at last. So when he told the president, “Will you shut up, man?” was not entirely wrong.
Editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, Jeffrey Goldberg, said: “Will you shut up, man’ might be Biden’s Gettysburg Address.”
According to Jon Favreau, a former speechwriter for President Barack Obama said, when Biden said that he spoke on behalf of most Americans.
In his speech, Biden talked about the worse condition of America due to COVID times. He said, “How many of you got this morning and had an empty chair at the kitchen table because someone died of COVID?”
Biden showed how more than 200,000 deaths from the United States virus have happened under Trump’s presidency.
His speech got him praise from bipartisan for the way he criticized and made points.
President Trump is not someone who will listen to criticism of any sort. So, while Biden made “scoring points,” Trump, on the other hand, displayed disrespect towards Biden.
Trump’s constant interruptions and personal attacks on Biden and his family delighted many of his most passionate supporters.
“I’m not sure that people at home would find that all appealing,” said Brit Hume, the Fox News analyst, said on television. He said Trump’s presence was “like a bucking bronco.”
After only half-hour into the debate, a leading Republican pollster, Neil Newhouse, said: “I’m exhausted. Have voters turned this off yet?”
Still, some pointed out the possibility that the debate had helped neither candidate and had depressed voters.
