Chris Wallace Is Disappointed With The Presidential Debate
Chris Wallace Is Not Happy With How The First Presidential Debate Turned Out!: Chris Wallace was the moderator of the first presidential debate that saw Trump and Biden accusing and mocking each other. During the whole time, Trump was not allowing Biden to speak, and Wallace spoke out his disappointment regarding the same. The entire debate looked like two boys fighting with Biden telling Trump to shut up and calling him a clown. Wallace was not impressed with how the debate turned out under his moderation. He said:
βIβm just sad with the way last night turned out.Β Iβm just disappointed with the results,” he said. “For me, but much more importantly, Iβm disappointed for the country, because it could have been a much more useful evening than it turned out to be.β

Chris Wallace Never Though Trump Would Go With This Strategy
Donald Trump had one plan for his presidential debate- to speak and not let Biden talk. Biden was mature enough to interrupt only a few times, but Trump never allowed Biden to speak. Wallace never imagined that the President would come with this idea in 2020 and was taken off-guard. He said:
βIβve read some of the reviews. I know people think, well, gee, I didnβt jump in soon enough. I guess I didnβt realize β and there was no way you could, hindsight being 20/20 β that this was going to be the presidentβs strategy.β
Chris Wallace Never Imagined The Debate To Go So Off The Track
Chris Wallace was looking for a productive day with the two presidential candidates when he set out to be the moderator of the debate. However, he was frustrated with Trump and said at one point:
βI think that the country would be better served if we allowed both people to speak with fewer interruptions. I am appealing to you, sir, to do that. Frankly, you’ve been doing more interrupting than he [Biden] has.” After the debate, Wallace said, βI never dreamt that it would go off the tracks the way it did.β

Two More Presidential Debates To Go
The first presidential debate was not impressive. People will expect something better from Trump when they come again on October 15 and October 22.
