Coronavirus Stimulus: White House Economic Adviser Larry Kudlow Confirms Additional Relief To Airline Industry!: The US airline sector is going nowhere at the moment due to coronavirus. The coronavirus pandemic has taken away a lot from the industry due to the travel restrictions and strict travel measures.

People prefer to stay home at the moment, and the airline industry is struggling to keep themselves at the surface. Will they get any aid from the government?

The Aid To Airline Industry From First Stimulus Check

In March, the airline sector had come to a standstill. Other countries had closed their border and the states within had also banned travel. Due to this, the different companies were struggling to make payments for salaries and other expenses. As a ray of hope came the first stimulus package.

The airline industry got $25 billion to pay salaries and sustain itself till September. However, with the period coming to a close, there is little progress in the sector.

Larry Kudlow Indicates Government Support To Airline Sector

White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow gave some new hopes to the airline companies when he indicated that the government is ready to support and help the companies during these challenging times. He said:

β€œIf they need additional assistance, we stand ready to work with them to hammer out additional packages.”

Larry Kudlow Suggest Additional Funds On Its Way

Larry Kudlow also suggested that the airline companies can expect funds from the government in the coming weeks. Chief Executive Nicholas Calio of Airlines for America is desperate for funds from the government as he feels things won’t get back to normal before 2024.
