Courteney Cox And David Arquette To Get Back Together For Scream Franchise
Ex-couple Courteney Cox and David Arquette are coming back together for the hit franchise Scream. The two will be part of the fifth instalment of the franchise. This is interesting because the couple split with each other in 2010 and ended their marriage three years later. However, their past doesn’t seem to affect them as they are now joining hands for the fifth instalment of the famous horror franchise. Ironically they met each other while shooting for Scream in 1996 and then got married in 1999.
David Arquette Loves Working With Courteney Cox
After the official announcement regarding Scream 5, David opened up that he was still in touch with his ex-wife and is excited to work with her. He even complimented her for her acting skills. “Well, we co-parent,” said David. “So, we’re in touch quite a bit. It’s great. But we always love working together. She’s an incredible actress, so it’ll be fun to bring these characters back to life and see where they’re at. … Co-starring’s the easy part.” David shares a daughter with Courtney- Coco, who is 16 years old.
David Arquette And Courteney Cox Are Excited For Scream 5
David and Courteney expressed their excitement for the new edition of the franchise in their own separate ways. David released a statement that said, “Scream has been such a big part of my life, and for both the fans and myself, I look forward to honouring Wes Craven’s legacy.” Courteney posted a picture of the franchise’s ghost and gave the caption, “I can’t wait to see this face again.”
Courteney Cox’s Past Experience Of Working With David Arquette
Courteney and David are not working together for the first time since their split in 2010. The two came together for Scream 4 in 2011. At that time, Courteney had only good things to say for her ex-husband. Post the release of the film; she said, “The thing is David and I love each other so much, and we get along so well. I love him so much. We are the closest of friends. I would say we’re probably better now than we were during that movie.”
