Days Of Our Lives Actor Greg Vaughan Bids Goodbye To His Fans And Co-Actors: Sad news for Days Of Our Lives fans. Actor Greg Vaughan has decided to quit the show. His part as Eric Brandy will come to an end in Salem, at least for some time.

His character is going to Africa to make a positive change in his life. He has left behind his beloved Nicole and daughter Holly.

Greg’s Character Eric Isn’t dead Yet.

However, there is a silver lining in this cloud as his character is not dead. So, there is always an option for a solid comeback. Still, it’s hard to digest the fact that he wouldn’t appear on the screen. Eric’s character got a lot of love from Greg’s fans.

Vaughan took to his Instagram to say goodbye to his fans and co-stars before leaving the show.

Greg Vaughan Shared a Series Of Memorable Pictures From DOOL Set

“Seeing it’s the last week I’m airing on DAYS, I wanted to share some great captured memories this week with my incredible fans and castmates,” said Greg. He shared a series of pictures captured at the set of Days Of Our Lives.

In the pictures, he was with his on-screen parents Marlena and roman portrayed by Deidre Hall and Josh Taylor. He also had a snap with his twin sister Β Sami (Alison Sweeney) on the show.

Vaughan then posted a photo along with his grandmother Caroline Brandy played by late actress Peggy McCay.

The photos depict Eric’s memorable moments spent on the show. It included joyful moments like his marriage as well as solemn moments like when he decided to give up the priesthood. The Emmy-winning actor started shooting for Days Of Our Lives back in 2012. He was also in Oprah Winfrey Network drama series Queen Sugar. There he played the role of Detective Calvin.

Vaughan Character Is Headed To Salem

Eric has decided to leave Salem despite Sami’s and the baby condition. He is heading in a positive direction is the only good thing in this heartbreaking situation. Fans will surely miss him and wait for his character to come back.
