James Cameron- Delay of Avatar 2 Helped Avatar 3
Delay Of Avatar 2 Release Date paves the way for Avatar 3!: The delay in the release date of Avatar 2 eventually benefited Avatar 3, James Cameron says. As of late, development on the ambitious sequels has been going at a frenetic pace.
Cameron recently finished the filming of Avatar 2, leaving three more sequels in the revolutionary franchise to be completed. The path to completion of Avatar 2 was a very long one, full of no less than six delays. However, Cameron has built a career on taking the long road at the same time. It turns out to be successful at the end.
Pandemic Halted The Movie But Helped In The 3rd Franchise
Fans will be glad to know that filming for Avatar 2 is over. The Titanic producer, James Cameron, revealed while talking to Arnold Schwarzenegger on the latter’s YouTube channel.
“Well, Covid hit us like it hit everybody. We lost about four and a half months of production. As a result of that, we’ve rolled around one more full year for a release in December of 2022. That’s been announced already. Now that doesn’t mean I have an extra year to finish the film, because the day we deliver Avatar 2 we’ll just start working on finishing Avatar 3,” James Cameron said.
Today, with any film making, delays are a tough thing to deal with. Fortunately, however, for Cameron, the delays put on his Avatar movies have ended up working to his benefit, even though it suggests that fans would have to wait that much longer.
The decision to create Avatar 2 and sequels in New Zealand was beautiful, according to James Cameron, like the original movie. The response of the country to the outbreak of Covid-19 has been exemplary. Indian Express noted that he thanked the government for allowing him and his team to go ahead in a secure atmosphere for filming.
The good news, on the other hand, is that the delay in the release of Avatar 2 aided the process of making Avatar 3, Cameron said.
The movie will probably hit the big screen in December.
