DeMar DeRozan rushed to his family’s defense after an attacker burst into his house last month in Los Angeles, California. The man allegedly broke into the NBA player’s home on Nov. 19. And made his way to the playground upstairs, where at least one of his children was playing.
TMZ Sports claims that the DeMar DeRozan came into action when he sensed the commotion and raced to the area to see what was going on. He ended up coming “face-to-face” with the attacker in the process as he entered. Sources told the publication that DeRozan “chased the man out of his house” after a harrowing confrontation, defending not just his family, but also Kylie Jenner.
According to law enforcement authorities, the man escaped the gated community. But returned minutes later to try to break into the reality TV star’s home—which was his intended aim. The alleged intruder wanted to return to the neighborhood, but the guards stopped him, who called the police.
Sources reported that the perpetrator had told the police that he had made a mistake and had not planned to infiltrate the basketball player’s building. Instead, he intended to break into Jenner’s home in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles.
Jenner is now seeking legal action.
According to TMZ, Jenner is now seeking legal action against Justin Bergquist for supposedly trying to break into her home. The legal team of the makeup mogul filed papers on Friday (Dec. 4) demanding a restraining order against the individual.
This is not the first time a prominent family has been selected for this kind of home break-ins. The owner of Kylie Cosmetics’ older sister, Kendall Jenner’s home, had been broken into a few years before, and a man had tried several times to infiltrate Kris Jenner’s mother’s gated community.
