Eddie Murphy Was Nominated 5 Times Earlier But Hadn’t Won So Far.
Although he has been nominated five times earlier, he hadn’t won so far. Now, he can finally relax and savour the joy of winning the award.
Since the Creative Arts Emmys were held virtually because of the pandemic, he received the prize in a pre-recorded video.
Thank you to everybody at the Emmys. Thank you so much for giving me an Emmy. I don’t have an Emmy. It’s been 40 years since I started Saturday Night Live. This is my first Emmy, so thank you so much,” said Eddie in his speech.
