Ellen DeGeneres Apologises To Her Staff Amid Hostile Work Conditions!: Not a long ago, Ellen DeGeneres apologised to her staff members on The Ellen DeGeneres Show amid an internal investigation of complaints of a difficult workplace.
Warner Bros, the parent company of the show, conducted an internal investigation regarding the racism and bullying complaints. That is to say; Ellen officially gave out her statement regarding the investigation.
DeGeneres told that she has ‘deep compassion’ for people who got treated poorly. Not to mention that Ellen has been openly criticised for being Gay, she understands what it is to be judged.
“As we’ve grown exponentially, I’ve not been able to stay on top of everything and relied on others to do their jobs as they knew I’d want them done. Clearly some didn’t. That will now change and I’m committed to ensuring that this doesn’t happen again.”
“It’s been way too long, but we’re finally having conversations about fairness and justice. On day one of our show, I told everyone in our first meeting that The Ellen DeGeneres Show would be a place of happiness, no one would ever raise their voice, and everyone would be happy.”
“Obviously, something changed, and I am disappointed to learn that this has not been the case. I’m also learning that people who work with me and for me are speaking on my behalf and misinterpreting who I am and that has to stop. Stay safe, and healthy. Love Ellen.”
Warner Bros confirmed that they conducted an investigation. Furthermore, they gave out a statement regarding the feud. It said:
“Not all of the allegations were corroborated. We are disappointed that the primary findings of the investigation indicated some deficiencies related to the show’s day-to-day management”
With this in mind, they’ve implemented staffing changes and other majors. Unfortunately, they did not mention any other details regarding the investigation.
