Facebook first launched its Community Help feature in 2017. This feature help users to offer assistance, search for help and receive help in the wake of a crisis. Furthermore, this feature has since been used to connect Facebook users after human-made, accidental and natural disasters, like terrorist attacks or weather events.

Coronavirus is currently a global problem. As per today, coronavirus cases reached over 950 thousand globally, with over 50,000 deaths. The cases in the US reached 180 thousand alone. Deta, according to Coronavirus Resource Center. Worldwide everyone is trying to fight this pandemic. Hence first time Facebook has launched Community Help on a global scale and is used for a health pandemic.
How Community Help Feature works
Keeping People Safe and Informed About the Coronavirus. Community Help is a place for people to request or offer help to neighbours, such as volunteering to deliver groceries or donating to a local food pantry or Fundraiser.
