For telling his mother that she has a son she can be proud of. Hae-hyo also gained brownie points.
Moreover, considering their class disparity and how they will not be able to go against their parents, Kim Jin-woo (Kwon Soo-hyun) eventually agrees to break up with Hae-sister hyo’s Won Hae-na (Jo Yoo-jung).
Jung-ha is continually aware of her past relationship with Hye-joon and finally continues to wear the personalized sneakers that her ex-boyfriend gave her. Thanks to Lee Tae-beef su’s with reporter Kim Su-man (Bae Yoon-kyung), Park Do-ha (Kim Gun-woo) gets into some more debates. Even Jin-woo persuades his mother, Lee Kyung-mi (Sung-yeon Park), to leave her job at the Won Household.

Though initially hesitant at first the family of Hye-joon eventually comes to terms with Hye-enlisting joon’s. While he also renews his four-year contract with the Jjampong agency of Lee Min-jae (Shin Dong-mi) to the delight of the agent. Min-jae also shares with Hye-older joon’s brother Sa Kyeong-jun (Lee Jae-won) a hilarious but endearing series. Bo-gum fans were left in tears because they thought that the actor was telling them those words, not just the character.
Two Years Later…
Then we take a jump two years later, after the discharge of Hye-joon and Hae-hyo from the military. As planned, while Jung-ha is now a major makeup artist, Hye-joon gets a big drama deal. The friendship of Hye-joon, Hae-hyo and Jin-woo still remains intact as they meet at their old place when the grandfather of Hye-joon.

It leads to an emotional breakdown for the latter. Young-nam approaches Hye-joon in a moment of epiphany and apologises for not being there for him. A big highlight was also the heartwarming father-son moment with those endearing smiles.
We see Hye-joon, on stage, in the final few moments, greeting Jung-ha as the two reconnect after two years since their split. Jung-ha likes to wear the sneakers that Hye-joon gave her and jokes to her ex that it doesn’t mean she’s really longing for him. As they catch up on the missed time and leave viewers with an open ending to weave their own imagination. The two get back to their simple camaraderie.
