Britney Spears Wants Her Father To Be Out Of Conservatorship
Britney Spears is going all out to ensure her father doesn’t get her conservatorship back. In 2019, Britney’s father Jamie temporarily stepped down from conservatorship due to health reasons. Due to this, Jodi Montgomery- a professional conservator took his place. Now Britney wants him to continue as the conservator and doesn’t want her father to be included in this. For this, her lawyers have now approached the court. As per the documents filed in court she strongly opposes her father as her conservator.
Britney Spears Wants Jodi Montgomery As Her Permanent Conservator

Why Is Britney Trying To Remove Her Father From Conservatorship
Britney was placed under conservatorship for the very first time in 2009. At that point, it was only his father and attorney Andrew Wallet who was her permanent and co-permanent conservator. However, many changes took place last year. Andrew resigned from his role last year while her father took a break in the latter half of 2019 due to some health reasons. Now Britney wants the new conservator to be the permanent one. As per the filed documents, it says, “We are now at a point where the conservatorship must be changed substantially in order to reflect the major changes in her current lifestyle and her stated wishes.”
