Halo: The Master Chief Collection Upgradation!
The news was revealed via the official Twitter account of Xbox. It tweeted that changes would also be made to the split-screen options of the game. And on Xbox Series X, the game would target up to 4 K resolution. A FOV slider and cross-gen multiplayer will also be included.
The update will arrive on November 17, which is a week after the launch of Microsoft’s next-gen consoles. It will be free for current Halo owners: subscribers to the Master Chief Series and Xbox Game Pass.
Microsoft is dedicated to ensuring that its current game library runs and looks better on its new consoles than ever. So it’s no surprise to see the same kind of publicity received. Another title updated for Xbox Series X is Gears 5, with enhanced graphics and 120fps support for the multiplayer mode of the game.
Microsoft Prepares For Updates
Halo: The Master Chief Set now contains a total of six Halo titles, including every single multiplayer mode. That means you’re getting Halo: Anniversary of Battle Evolved, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 4, Halo: ODST, and Halo Reach. The compilation but in a phased release format. It also found its way to the PC. The next title that will be used will be Halo 4.
Getting improved versions of the best Halo games available so soon after launch, with no Halo Infinite at launch, would help soften the blow for Master Chief fans.
