Hart Of Dixie To Bid Goodbye To Netflix!
Airing on The CW between 2011 and 2015, the feel-good drama starring Rachel Bilson has four seasons in total. Bilson, who plays the part of Zoe Hart. She moves to a small-town general practice when her hopes of being a surgeon are dashed.
As part of Netflix’s overall production contract with The CW that ended in 2019. The series is highly regarded and has come to Netflix annually. In September 2014, seasons 1 and 2 were added to Netflix. Season 3 was then added to Netflix in October 2014. It arrived on December 15, 2015, with the final season (season 4).
As for most CW names, once the final season arrives, a five-year countdown begins as to when the series is going to depart. Now with all four seasons leaving at once on December 15th, 2020, the time is up.
However only Netflix US has received the series. Netflix has not licensed the series worldwide.
Hart Of Dixie: Where It Will Stream After It Leaves Netflix?
As to where the next series falls has yet to be decided. Both Warner Brothers and CBS Television Studios are listed as the series’ joint distributors (both companies manage The CW) on the Wikipedia website. Usually, the series is owned by either WB or CBS and when Netflix licenses expire, it heads to its respective streaming service.
So that means the chance is that it will be going to CBS All Access or HBO Total. When we know more we’ll update this.
The good news is that while for many, this will not begin to offset the loss of Hart of Dixie, Netflix has begun to fill this genre with its own programming in recent years. Titles such as Sweet Magnolias and Virgin River have been Netflix’s major milestones, which we suggest you do so if you have not checked those out.
