Markus Stoinus Clicks With The Bat For Delhi Against RCB In IPL 2020

DC and RCB came to the field with people expecting a nail-biting match of IPL 2020 as both the teams were looking in good form. Delhi went to bat first and decided to strike from the word go. Prithvi Shaw was again in great condition and made 42 runs from just 23 balls. After valuable contributions from other batsmen, Markus Stoinus came to the pitch to bat. He started power hitting the ball and made a quick 53 from 26 balls. In the end, Delhi made an excellent total of 196.

RCB Batsman Fall Prey To Rabada In IPL 2020

RCB batsmen were never in the match with only Virat clicking for the team. Fans expected a better performance from them but a Rabada show ensured that Viratโ€™s team doesnโ€™t go too far in their run chase. Other than Viratโ€™s 43, no other batsman crossed 20 runs individually. Rabada bowled a stunning spell where he took four wickets including the significant one of Virat Kohli. At the end of 20 overs, RCB could only manage 137 runs at the loss of 9 wickets. With this, Delhi moved to the top of the table.

Virat Blames Dropping Catches For Losing Against DC In IPL 2020

Virat was not happy with how his team performed against Delhi. In the match, Chahal dropped Stoinus at 30, and he went on to hit a half-century. Kohli feels such things are hurting the teamโ€™s chance of winning. He said:

โ€œThose important chances in between, we need to grab them when the opportunity comes our way, it is not like we are dropping half chances, we are dropping sitters and those things hurt you. I think it is about rectifying those small mistakes.โ€
