Rajasthan Royals went out to bat, and everyone thought it was an easy chase for RR as they had previously chased down the total of 220 and this looked like no big deal. However, much to the surprise of people, the ones who starred in previous matches went back to the pavilion in no time. Butler, Smith, and Samson went down with a cumulative score of 32. After this, it was a complete disaster for RR with only Curran scoring a half-century. RR eventually crumbled down for a score of 137 in 20 overs.
Bowlers Shine As KKR Win Two Back To Back IPL 2020 Matches
Bowlers of KKR were at their best when they set out to bowl against RR. Unlike their first match where the bowlers were rusty, this time they were on point with their line and length. Their most expensive pick, Pat Cummins bowled most economically giving away just 13 runs in his three overs and also took a wicket. Spinners like Narine and Kuldeep also took wickets and gave away very few runs for the team. RR’s batsmen had no answer to the bowlers, and it was a well-deserved victory for KKR.
