Is BTS As Big As Beatles?
Is BTS As Big As Beatles? Well, Let’s Hear It From The BTS Members Themselves!: Beatles was a sensation that took over the world of music. Never in the history of music has any band or singer seen the stardom and fan following that Beatles enjoyed in their time.
However, suddenly there is one band that is not just enjoying that stardom but also threatening to overtake it. K-Pop sensation BTS often gets compared to the legendary band Beatles. They have even broken the record of Beatles for three Billboard No. 1 albums in a year. BTS member J-Hope is just happy to be compared to the Beatles. He said:
“It’s such a great honour to be mentioned along with The Beatles. We want to keep doing our own music and show our own colours.”
BTS Members Are Fans Of Beatles
For any person or group, the most significant achievement would be to compare to their idol. Something quite similar is happening with BTS at the moment. BTS members are big fans of the Beatles, and for them, it is like a dream they never saw to be compared to the Beatles. J-Hope further said:
“As big fans of The Beatles, we are thankful for such association and we want to work even harder to put out great music. We will try to make the name BTS sound as cool as The Beatles.”
BTS Not Looking For Grammy
BTS probably had the most successful year in 2019 compared to their counterparts. So it was customary to expect the best band to make it to the nominations of Grammys. However, much to the disappointment of the band and the BTS Army, it did not receive even single nomination. It was very shocking, and the BTS Army made it a point to show their outrage through Twitter. However, BTS is not chasing behind it. Talking about this, Suga said:
“It’s something we do want to accomplish, of course, but it’s also not something we can make happen just because we want it.”
BTS Army Takes Dynamite To The Top
BTS recently released its full-fledged English song Dynamite. Their songs not only broke records but shatter it altogether. Within only 24 hours of its release, the song set the record for 101 million views on YouTube.
