Who Is Ellen DeGeneres

Ellen DeGeneres is a comedian, actor, and talk show host. She is popularly known for her talk to show The Ellen DeGeneres Show which is still in production and was started way back in 2003. Moreover, she is an LGBTQ activist and is a lesbian who is married to Portia de Rossi. The two got married in 2008 after dating for many years. Ellen came out as a lesbian in 1997, and she described that face as the hardest. She does a lot of philanthropic work, and it can be seen from her popular show.

Allegations Against Ellen DeGeneres

The world knows Ellen as the epitome of kindness. She gives a lot of free stuff to poor people that come on her show. She always ends the show with the line, β€œBe kind to one another”. Her acts of charity for humans, as well as animals, won her the Presidential Medal of Freedom from Barack Obama. However, there have been many allegations during the past few months that Ellen is a hypocrite and does not practise what she preaches on the show in her real life. The news of her rudeness came as a shock to many for a lot of people praises her for her simplicity and kindness.

Ellen DeGeneres Loses Trust Of People

Ellen faced a lot of criticism for comparing lockdown and quarantine with jail even as she lives in a 27 million worth mansion. Podcaster Kevin T. Porter started with a Twitter thread where he revealed that Ellen is not as sweet as people think she is. Moreover, his tweet started a flurry of tweets from many ex-employers of Ellen, who revealed that she is very mean and bossy and acts like a completely different person on her show. As many as 2,250 people tweeted about it even though there is no way to verify the authenticity of the tweet.

Ellen has remained quiet throughout this lockdown about the incidents taking place against her. However, the hatred of a large group of people reached another level, and they started with a fresh thread on Twitter with the hashtag RIPEllen. Moreover, many of the hardcore fans thought their favourite celebrity is dead and mourned the loss of her life. The thread spread across Twitter, and soon the hashtag started trending on Twitter.
