After the victims: George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tamir Rice, Eric Garner, a new name – Jacob Blake has been called out in the protests famously known as ‘Black Lives Matter’ across the country. The 29-year-old black man, who was shot last month in Kenosha by a white policeman in front of his children, shared his emotional video telling about his story from the hospital.
“I just want to say, man, to all the young cats out there, and even the older ones older than me, it’s a lot more to live out here man. Your life and not only just your life, your legs, something that you need to move forward in life, can be taken from you like this, man.”
On August 23, Kenosha police responded to a call about ‘domestic incident.’ The female referred Blake as her boyfriend who wasn’t allowed to be on the premises and that he’d taken her car keys and wasn’t giving them back.
A Month before the same lady, they filed a case on him for third-degree sexual assault and domestic abuse. Both the police officers were aware of the pending arrest warrant before they arrived on the scene.
Then officers attempted to subdue blake and used tasers on him. The police union says that he had a knife in his hand and he fought forcefully with the officers. Blake opened the side door and leaned in, and the officer fired shots in his back.
Celebrities Supporting Him To Draw Attention To This
