Jada Pinkett Was Upset On Getting Pregnant

Jada Pinkett and Will Smith have been married for more than two decades now. However, things are still fresh and strong between the two. In one of her past interviews, Jada revealed that she was not very thrilled about her pregnancy as her mother pressurized her to get married. She said,

β€œIt was almost as if Gammy was like, you have to get married. I was under so much pressure being a young actress β€” being young, pregnant, I was just like, I didn’t know what to do. But I knew I never wanted to be married.”

Jada remembers her wedding as horrible as she was very upset and sad about it. She does not believe in the institution of marriage in the first place. She said, β€œI just never really agreed with the construct [of marriage]. I just don’t agree with it. I never have.”
