John Legend Does Not Support Kanye West Running For President
John Legend is not extending his support to Kanye for his presidential run. In fact, he shared an article on Twitter that was against Kanye’s presidential campaign, thus making it very clear about his stand. The article claimed that strategist Lane Ruhland was helping Kanye to make it to the presidential ballot in Wisconsin. Lane is a supporter of the Republican party and strategist for Donald Trump. John also gave a small disclaimer with the article that said, “Just in case anyone needs some clarity around what’s happening here.”
John Legend Calls Kanye’s Supporter’s ‘Reckless’
John did not stop after the second article as he went a step further to call the supporters of Kanye as reckless and misinformed. He was trying to highlight the hypocrisy of Kanye. If the claims in the article are true, then Kanye is taking help from the team members of his competitors. This raises several doubts about his stance against the ruling government. In his subsequent tweet, John says, “Anyway…. Anyone reckless and/or misinformed enough to fall for the okey-doke probably wasn’t voting for Biden (or voting at all).” It was an indirect jibe at those who were thinking about voting Kanye.
Donald Trump Denies The Claims Of Republicans Helping Kanye West
The content of the article spread among the media people. One of the journalists asked Donald about the same during a press conference. However, he denied the involvement of any Republican in the election campaign of Kanye. Even after being a competition, he only had good things to say about Kanye. Trump said, “I like him. He’s always been very nice to me.”
Kanye West’s 2020 Elections May Remain As A Dream
Kanye West was very late in announcing his run for the presidency for the 2020 elections. He missed the presidential ballot for many states. With a lot of optimism, he did his first rally in South Carolina. However, he could not get the required number of signatures and failed to make it to the ballot in South Carolina. With this big upset, his presidential campaign has done downhill. Now he is looking to secure a place in Wisconsin.
