Donald Trump Goes To Court To Halt Counting In Michigan

Donald Trump is not happy with how the election result is turning and especially with that of Michigan. He filed a case in the court of Michigan asking the judge to stop the counting of votes. He wants the process to resume only after all election inspectors are allowed to be present to oversee the counting. The election is currently slipping out of the hands of Donald Trump and he is applying every cheap trick to pull the rope back.

Judge Denies Plea By Donald Trump To Stop Counting

Court of Claims Judge Cynthia Stephens denied the plea of Donald Trump and asked people to continue counting of votes in Michigan. As per her, there was no evidence of fraud and hence no need to stall the counting process. She said, “I have no basis to find that there’s a substantial likelihood of success on the merits as it relates to this defendant, nor am I convinced that there is a clear legal duty on the part of anyone who is promptly before this court to manage this issue.”

Donald Trump Calls Detroit The Most Corrupt Place

Donald Trump is acting like a cry baby at the moment. He called out Detroit (City in Michigan) as the most corrupt place in the US for politics. Moreover, he said, “Detroit and Philadelphia, known as two of the most corrupt political places anywhere in our country, easily, cannot be responsible for engineering the outcome of a presidential race.”

Donald Trump Loses Michigan To Joe Biden

After all his attempt to stall the counting of Michigan, Donald Trump could not stop the inevitable. Joe Biden eventually went on to win the state of Michigan and extend his lead against Trump. He won 50.6 percent of the total votes while Trump was second with 47.9 percent of votes.
