Kim Kardashian finally spoke up about the controversy surrounding Kanye West for the past many days. She did not mention the election speech. However, she indirectly indicated that Kanye’s bipolar disorder was a major factor in his controversial speech and tweets. Kim opened up through her Instagram story about the struggle of Kanye and his family. She said, β€œAs many of you know, Kanye has bipolar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand.”

Kim Kardashian Reveals Why She Never Spoke About Kanye’s Mental Illness

She further talked about why she never openly spoke about Kanye’s mental illness. Moreover, she did not want her statements to affect her children in any manner. She further said, β€œI’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home. Because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health.”

Kim gave away that she is now talking about Kanye’s bipolar disorder due to the stigma attached to the mental disease. Kim took it upon herself to clarify certain aspects of the mental illness that Kanye is suffering from. She revealed that an adult has to get involved to get better with bipolar disorder. In her Instagram story, she revealed, β€œPeople who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try.”
