Kourtney Kardashian is an inspiration to many people due to her love for fitness. It became big news when she featured on the cover of Us Weekly, where she showed her transformation from fat to fit. It was mind-blowing to see that she had lost 44 pounds in just 6 months. She had resorted to a strict keto diet for the same. However, she had stopped the diet as she was able to maintain her fitness with it. She announced through her Instagram story that she was getting back on the keto diet.
When Kourtney Started With The Keto Diet
Kourtney Kardashian first started with the keto diet two years ago. She did for two months after which she gave up on a diet. However, in July 2019, Kourtney started with the diet again. She said keto worked for her very well the first time. She said, “My body never looked better than when I did the keto diet two and a half years ago when I did it for two months. In my experience, I’ve found the best method to train my body to curb sugar cravings, burn fat and kick-start weight loss is by sticking to a keto diet.”
Kourtney Kardashian Talks About Weight Gain During Lockdown
The US went into lockdown, and Kourtney quarantined with her sister Kim and her husband, Kanye. She admitted in May that she had gained weight during the lockdown after many Instagrammers asked her if she was pregnant again. She replied to this saying, “This is the shape of my body. I gained a few pounds over this quarantine time, and I love my body, and I’m proud of my shape, and I’m obviously posting it, and this is the shape of my body. I don’t think I look pregnant at all.”
How Kourtney Kardashian Started With Her Keto Diet
Kourtney has kick-started with her keto plan in a rather healthy way. She shared a picture in her Instagram story of her first meal of her keto diet. In the picture, it can be seen that she is having a healthy salad. It contained sliced avocado, lettuce, carrot ribbons, lean turkey and some cheese.
