The Drowning Of Naya Rivera
On July 8, Naya (33) took her son Josey (4), for boating. The duo rented a boat at Lake Piru northwest of Los Angeles.
About 3 hours later, another person noticed the boat drifting with the child asleep onboard.
Authorities were informed about the boat, and they led the ship to the shore. Buschow said the child told officers they went swimming, but his mother didn’t get back on the boat.
The child told that his mother helped him get back aboard, then he looked around and saw her disappear into the water. It leads to the authorities to believe that she had drowned.
According to the authorities, Naya Rivera last minutes were spend saving her son and helping him get aboard after which she disappeared in the waters.
The Actress Knew How To Swim
The only suspicious thing is that Naya already knew how to swim. Naya mother, Yolanda shared that her daughter was a “good swimmer” and was familiar with the lake.
Though the autopsy report has come out, Naya had previous problems with vertigo, had a recent sinus infection, and had a small number of prescribed amphetamines in her system.
Toxicology tests also showed small, therapeutic amounts of the anti-anxiety drug diazepam and the appetite suppressant phentermine in her system.
Though the various reasons for her death got pointed out, it is accidental drowning.
The Third Death
It is the third death or a star that has gotten connected with the TV show “Glee“, the Fox TV musical comedy. Rivera starred in “Glee” (2009 to 2015) playing the role of Santana Lopez, singing and dancing lesbian cheerleader.
Before this, the two major stars of the show, Cory Monteith (31) and Mark Salling (35) have also died. One had killed cause of drug overdose while the other committed suicide.
