Lisa Marie Presley’s Son Benjamin Keough Dies Of Suicide: Lisa Marie Presley’s son, Benjamin Keough recently killed himself via a self-inflicted gunshot. The 27-year-old Benjamin was the grandson of legendary singer Elvis Presley.
Let’s get into the details of Benjamin’s untimely demise.
Despite being from a famous family, Benjamin was never interested in fame. Nobody knows much about him or his life. However, his mom, Lisa and his dad Danny Keough are both singers as well as songwriters.
But, in 2009, Ben wrote a few songs and got a $5 million deal. He got actor credits, but eventually, it died out. When asked about Lisa’s condition, her representative said:
“She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins, and her oldest daughter Riley. She adored that boy he was the love of her life.”
Benjamin killed himself via a gunshot, but there are no reports as to why he did what he did.
The Elvis Impersonator!
Ben has kept a low-key life throughout the 27 years, but one thing that didn’t leave him was that he looked so much like his late grandfather, the legendary singer, Elvis Presley i-e the King himself.
Lisa Presley once said:
“Ben looks so much like dad. He was at the Opry and was the quiet storm behind the stage. Everybody turned around and looked when he was over there. Everybody was grabbing him for a photo because it is just uncanny.”
Lisa wrote a song for Ben called Storm and Grace as Storm was his middle name.
Lisa Was A Proud Mother!
We often caught Lisa praising her kids. Ben was the only boy child she had, and she was proud of him. Presley always told everyone that her children had a little bit of he father in them.
Lisa was closest to Ben, and she even got matching tattoos with him on mothers day of 2009. What’s surprising is why did Ben take a drastic step leaving his entire family in shambles.
We hope Lisa, Riley, Danny, and the twins recover from this unfortunate incident, we hope Ben is in a better place now. Rest In Peace Benjamin Keough.
