The Disappearance Of Madelaine McCann
Madeleine McCann: Suspect Christian Brueckner Not Linked To The Case: Madeleine McCann’s case is not a new topic of discussion for us, the 3-year-old’s mysterious disappearance has led to many theories and trails for over ten years now. Madeleine McCann disappeared on 3rd May 2007 from her ‘bed’ in the holiday apartment in Portugal.
However, over the years, her parents were suspected too but, when Scotland Yard reopened its investigation, they got a few clues. Earlier, the officials claimed that Madeleine died due to lack of evidence but, in June 2020, Braunschweig Police, Germany stated that a convicted sexual predator, Christian Brueckner is a suspect in the case!
Let’s get into the details of Christian Brueckner’s link to McCann.
Christian Brueckner’s Involvement
Christian Brueckner’s Lawyer’s Claims
Christian Brueckner became a suspect after he boasted about her disappearance to his friend at a bar on the 10th anniversary. Yet, the lawyer claims that even though Brueckner was a previous child sex abuser, he couldn’t have abducted Madeleine.
His lawyer claims that Brueckner is a ‘friendly conversationalist.’ He even said that there was no evidence leaning onto Christian.
Nonetheless, German prosecutors have tangible evidence that Madeleine McCann is indeed dead and that she died on the same day as he disappearance.
Brueckner however, logged onto the radio cell tower the night she disappeared. But as I earlier said, there is no concrete evidence against Brueckner.
Madeleine McCann’s disappearance has created a void in her parents’ hearts that won’t fill unless they get justice for their daughter. We don’t if McCann is alive or dead, but we hope her parents get the closure they deserve.
