Good news, lovers of Midge! One week after re-released season 3, Amazon announced that had renewed the Wonderful Mrs Maisel for season 4. And seeing how successful the show is with both fans and reviewers alike (hello, 16 Emmy Awards over two seasons!), we can’t say we’re shocked by the speedy revival of the show.
As for the future of Midge after season 4? We don’t know much yet, but we do know that show producer Amy Sherman-Palladino is likely to have plans for at least one more season after that: “I think we know what our trajectory is for the first four to five seasons,” Amy told The Hollywood Reporter back in 2017, after the first season.

Are there any previews for season 4?
We haven’t got spoilers yet. It seems like a good bet, though to believe that Midge’s comedy career will only continue to begin after her first nationwide tour in season 3. And that we will force her loved ones, Those that are on a journey to take their livelihoods and their modern consequences more seriously.
In an interview with Good Housekeeping, actress Caroline Aaron, who plays the show with Joel’s girlfriend Shirley, even hinted that season 4 could be difficult for Maisels as they continue to adapt to the changing times of the ’60s.
