People Worried For Joe Biden After Donald Trump Tests Positive
Keeping Mike Pence aside, Joe Biden and Donald Trump came together a few days ago for the first presidential debate. Moreover, the discussion was met with low reviews as Trump was breaking Biden, and there was no productive result in the end. However, a few days after the debate, Trump tested positive for the virus.
While Biden and Trump were at a distance from each other, Democratic supporters were worried as to whether Biden was also positive for the virus with the chance of getting it from Trump. Moreover, he is also very aged and comes under a vulnerable age group for coronavirus.
Joe Biden Tests Negative For Coronavirus
Joe Biden and his wife immediately went for a coronavirus test to avoid any complication. To the relief of everyone, both Joe and his wife Jill tested negative for the virus. It would sigh relief to everyone supporting Joe Biden for the 2020 US election. He said:
“I’m happy to report that Jill and I have tested negative for COVID. Thank you to everyone for your messages of concern. I hope this serves as a reminder: wear a mask, keep social distance, and wash your hands.”
Mike Pence And His Wife Test Negative For Coronavirus
Donald Trump has some people who he interacts with now and then. One of them is his Vice-President Mike Pence. Mike and Trump are always together, especially with the elections nearing in. Hence, Trump testing positive created doubts as to whether Mike also got the virus from Trump. However, his test results showed negative for coronavirus.
Mike Pence Will Debate Kamala Harris
Mike Pence’s spokesperson stated the test. It said:
“As has been routine for months, Vice President Pence is tested for COVID-19 every day. This morning, Vice President Pence and the Second Lady tested negative for COVID-19. Vice President Pence remains in good health and wishes the Trumps well in their recovery.”
With this, he will be there for the vice-presidential debate that will take place on 7 October.
