COVID-19: "The Corona Virus outbreak"

Coronavirus And The US

I almost find it amusing, how angry Donald Trump’s government is over China yet fails to take action to save the people of the country. Instead, he gave a speech about how people should start injecting themselves with Lysol (later said it was a joke). Similarly, Mike Pompeo’s allegations on coronavirus outbreak originated in a Chinese laboratory, was also doubtful.Covid-19 | New Scientist

Mike Pompeo’s Allegations On Coronavirus Outbreak Originated In A Chinese Laboratory

Mike Pompeo made some wild announcements in front of the country. In an interview with ABC, Mike, who is a secretary, made a statement. He accused China of making the virus in Wuhan’s laboratories.

What he did wrong is, provide no further constructive explanation or proof to back his statement. This obviously pissed off some people.Mike Pompeo warns White House staff as he denies ...

The Statement: In Detail

Mike Pompeo’s allegations on coronavirus outbreak originated in a Chinese laboratory, further stressed on his statement by bringing up some things, like research work. According to him, he knows some scientists who claim that the virus was man-made.Mike

When some points were brought up in opposition to this, for example, the official report on the matter, he changed his words. According to the report from the US – the virus is not genetically modified at all.

It was funny watching him fumble on his words as he quietly agreed to that, contradicting his own words. Mike, yet again made another statement a few days later, and this was bizarre.

He says again that he has no idea where the virus originated from. Whether from the wet market (seafood heaven) or from the laboratories of China, he does not know.

So, in less than a week Mike makes three different statements on the same topic. How are we supposed to trust him?

Meanwhile, the government is keen on blaming China for this disease outbreak. What do you think? Should they be blamed and ridiculed such a way?
