The Senator decided to target Nancy Pelosi when he decided to get a haircut before resuming the Senate. Due to coronavirus, salons are closed in some of the areas of the US due to the local restrictions. However, that did not stop Mitt from getting himself cleaned up for the Senate.
He decided to get a haircut in the house itself. He even shared a picture of the haircutting process. However, more than his haircut, his caption is making the headlines. Taking a dig at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, he tweeted:

What became an even bigger issue was that the video footage of the CCTV cameras showed Nancy entering the salon without a mask. All this broke out a controversy on privilege and the violation of rules and regulations.

Nancy Pelosi was not happy with how things were shaping up for her. Instead of accepting her mistake, she blamed salon for setting her up for trap to which she fell like a charm. Moreover, representatives of Nancy denied allegations of not wearing a mask and alleged that she was wearing one before entering the salon.
Salon Owner Denies Allegations Of Setting Up Nancy Pelosi
The salon owner denied the allegations. She revealed that Nancy had made an appointment and there was no way she could have done set Pelosi up. She said:
“[Pelosi] had called the stylist, or her assistant did and had made the appointment so the appointment was already booked so there was no way I could have set that up. And I’ve had a camera system in there for five years, I mean I didn’t go in there and turn cameras on as soon as she walked in and set her up so that’s absolutely false.”
