MNS leader Sent Letters To The The Top Executives, Also Threatens To Face Agitation If The Demands Aren’t Met
The top executives of Amazon and Flipkart received identical letters. MNS leader, Akhil Chitre, stressed on the point that it was essential to include Marathi. He also added that the language deserves this much respect. Marathi is the official language of Maharashtra.
Akhil further claimed that the Marathi speaking community felt humiliated by this. He also added that no such insult would be tolerated. Chitre then demanded an apology from both the e-commerce apps. He wanted Marathi to be included in the “Choose your preferred language” option. The MNS leader condemned both the apps for giving preference to South Indian languages.
At the end of the letter, he also warned both the managements. Akhil Chitre said that only they would be responsible if the demands aren’t heard. He concluded by saying, “Your management board will be responsible for all consequences.”
