Recent rumors suggest that Bradley Beal leaving his team and moving to Brooklyn Nets. As always, the rumor is one of the fake news. Fred Katz of The Athletic confirms the star player of Washington Wizards will not leave the team any time soon.
He explained, “Beal is telling the Washington Wizards the same things he’s telling the public.” “And after he signed an extension less than a year ago, Washington is not operating as if he is gone when this contract expires.”
Bradley Beal NBA Journey With Washington Wizards
Beal is always one of the star players of the Washington Wizards franchise. He has started his NBA career as a part of the wizard’s team member. He joined the team back in 2010 as the third overall pick of that year’s NBA Draft. Over these years in the game, he worked hard and improved himself in the game.
This star player of Washington Wizards earned two consecutive All-Star selections in 2019 and 2018. But he was not a part of the All-Star game in 2020. While many claimed he deserves a place in the game as he had a great scoring point. Beal has 30.5 points in scoring along with 6.1 assists per game. With his scoring, he stands in second place right after James Harden in the league.
Bradley Beal intentions With Washington Wizards
Back in October, Beal signed a two-year contract with the Washington Wizards. This contract seems a good chance to be in the team for two years a long time. But Beal has plans to stay in the team for a long time. Earlier in March of this year, Beal talked about the long stay in a team with Washington Wizards.
Bradley Beal said, “Wanting to have my jersey retired in Washington (Wizards) one day played a factor in me re-signing. Every time we walk in the arena, there are five names up there. Those are some of the five greatest (players) to ever touch a basketball. To be on a pace to break the records that I am now and to be there for eight years already, that’s special. And coming into the prime of my career, you don’t know how much longer you have.”
