New Legendary Pokemon Kubfu: Sword and Shield’s Isle of Armor DLC release a new Legendary in two completely different forms. Here is what you want to know about the new Legendary Pokemon.
Pokemon Sword and Shield‘s Isle of Armor is the latest storyline. It centers around Kubfu which is a new Legendary Pokemon that you will get after finishing all three trials of Master Dojo’s. Kubfu is quite different from the other Pokemons. He is able to evolve and Urshifu, its evolution can take one of the forms between Single Strike and Rapid Strike.
But evolving this new Pokemon Kubfu is a bit more involved. Even the two possible forms of Urshifu has their strength and drawbacks.
Kubfu: How To Evolve
After completing the three trials of Master Dojo Mustard will gift you the new Legendary pokemon Kubfu. To evolve Kubfu you have to challenge one of the Towers of Two Fists. But before that, you need to develop and have to increase your friendship with Kubfu. Luckily its method is easier than making friends with the other Pokemons.
After the receiving of Kubfu, Mustard will mark some areas which have great views on your map. From the places which are shown you just have to visit only three and have to speak with dojo members at each of them to max out the friendship between you and Kubfu.
Once you complete visiting areas you have to return to Mustard and you will earn the right challenge between Tower of Darkness and Tower of Water. There will five battels in each of the Towers. But you have to pick one from them so you have to think carefully. After clear all battle with towers and Mustard, You can evolve your Kubfu.
The Kubfu you evolve will be different as its features depend on the two-tower you challenge. If it is the Tower of Water it will Rapid Strike Urshifu and if it is the Tower of Darkness it will Single Strike Urshifu.
Kubfu is not the only Pokemon you can evolve. You have the option to evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowbro. It is a new regional variant that has a unique ability called Quick Draw and Poison-type attack named Shell Side Arm. The Isle of Armor expansion also gives you the chance to teach a Pokemon to how Gigantamax thanks to Max Soup, a special dish.
