OnePlus 8 This Year

OnePlus generally announces a couple of smartphones every year. But in 2019, it announced two versions of the popular smartphone – the 7 and 7 Pro. It also gave an announcement regarding another two variants of the β€œT” version in the 7T and Β 7T Pro. Now, they are up to OnePlus 8.

First Glance At The OnePlus 8 Pro:

The latest leak renders for the 8 Pro are now out. At first appearance, it looks like the 7 Pro with just added cameras and a sad punch-hole cutout in the display.

In 2020, it seems like OnePlus is going to announce the 8 and 8 Pro. On the contrary, rumours are spreading that it immediately announces OnePlus 8 Lite too.

The next-generation OnePlus phones are coming soon. However, a bunch of leaks from reliable tipsters gave us a lot to ponder on. The eight and the 8 Pro will be the most notable upgrades over the outgoing models in terms of the specifications.

Similarities To 7T Pro:

In the beginning, the 8 Pro looks as if it picked up the design of the 7T Pro and made to undergo a few changes. On the back, the cameras sit in the middle.

But since it is now a quad-camera system, the fourth camera sits outside the central camera hump. A bunch of sensors accompanies it. The phone also has the new OnePlus logo at the bottom.

New Colour Scheme:

Additionally, you must have come to know about the new green colour by now. This is the original matte green colour. It resembles a lot like the green colour on the iPhone 11 Pro models. Green always has a pleasant appearance too. The colour appears to be a little similar to the green colour on the Realme X50 Pro 5G.

The OnePlus 8 is powered with Snapdragon 865 5G

The Snapdragon 865 in the OnePlus 8 with 5G support will be better than the Snapdragon 855 Plus on the 7T. The improvement won’t be visible much. The Snapdragon 855 Plus is itself a pretty powerful chip. However, the 865 offers only marginal gains.

OnePlus has stuck to the LPDDR4X RAM. It also uses the same UFS 3.0 storage. The only gain you can see here is the 12GB RAM. This RAM was reserved for the Pro models only last year.
