She tries to convey the problems in her life starting from her childhood that still haunts her to this day. Paris’ parents put too many restrictions on her during her childhood which made her rebellious. Her parents sent her to a boarding school in Utah which is by far her most horrifying experience. Talking about her parents in the documentary, she said, “My parents were so strict that it made me want to rebel. They’d [punish me] by taking away my cell phone, taking away my credit card, but it didn’t work. I would still go out on my own.”

Paris Hilton Opens Up On Her Horrifying Boarding School Experience

The horrifying experience during her time in boarding school molded the mental health of Paris and affects her personality to this date. She faced a lot of physical and mental abuse which shaped her to become a fearful kid. She said, “It was supposed to be a school, but [classes] were not the focus at all. From the moment I woke up until I went to bed, it was all day screaming in my face, yelling at me, continuous torture.”

Boarding School Authorities Instilled Fear In Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton thinks that abusing the students was a method of the boarding school authorities to make the children fearful of them. It was their weird way of making kids obey. Paris said, “The staff would say terrible things. They were constantly making me feel bad about myself and bully me. I think it was their goal to break us down. And they were physically abusive, hitting and strangling us.”
