The upcoming console to the new PlayStation family will be with ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD. Also, the CPU is with 8-core AMD Zen2, variable frequency, which is up to 3.5 GHz. So, the storage capacity is 825 GB SSD and the memory of it was 16GB GDDR6 SDRAM. However, the company has revealed all the features through its official magazine.
Also, gamers are eagerly waiting for the release of PlayStation5 on June 4, 2020, but it was postponed. This new console will support both downloadable and disc-based games. So, the excitement of the new console is it has a solid-state drive and excellent GPU ray tracing. However, it has backward compatibility with the previous versions.
The launch of the new console was planned to release on June 4, 2020. But, it was postponed for the light of events due to the George Floyd protests. Also, the company has released a short video regarding the upcoming PlayStation5. So, the only reason for the postponement of the PS5 is due to the protests happening in the United States against police.
Sony has released a video naming as “Future of Gaming” that gave information regarding the features and some games of PS5. Thus, makers have announced through Twitter from the PlayStation account, as it is not the right time to celebrate.
