Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Should Be Careful With Their Venture Outside The Royal Family!: Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, declared they would be leaving the British royal family to become financially independent. It’s been six months since their departure, and recently there has been news of them signing a mega-deal with Netflix.
MEGHAN MARKLE AND PRINCE HARRY’S DEAL WITH NETFLIX
According to the New York Times, the package includes documentaries, docu-series, scripted shows, children’s programming, and feature films. The deal is worth upward of $100 million, though neither Prince Harry nor Meghan has disclosed anything.
The Sussexes said in a statement that this financial independence has allowed them to repay the $3 million owed for the renovations for their U.K. residence Frogmore Cottage.
As many are happy with this new endeavour, 64 per cent of the U.K. responded inadequately. They were “not interested at all” in anything the Sussex might have to offer on the streaming platform.
PRINCE EDWARD’S VENTURE OUTSIDE THE ROYAL FAMILY
Even though we are not sure of their content, they need to stay clear not to follow the footsteps of Harry’s uncle Prince Edward. Prince Edward has an exciting TV career.
In the late 1980s, after leaving the Royal family, Prince Edward went into entertainment. Though unfortunately, his career didn’t blossom. In 1987 The Grand Knockout Tournament, also famously known as It’s a Royal Knockout, was his first-ever show.
In 2001, his production company tried to film Prince William while he was a student at the University of Andrews. It made Prince Charles furious, and Prince Edward denied knowing anything about it. Later in 2009, Ardent Productions, Prince’s company, failed to make a profit and was liquidated.
So, looking into everything, it is clear that Prince Harry and Meghan need to be careful with their journey outside the Royal family.
