Rami Malek Lands Huge Role
Fresh off his success in previous endeavours like Mr Robot and his podcast, “Blackout”. Rami Malek looks to pick up more steam getting to star as the main antagonist in arguably one of the biggest movie franchise of all time, the James Bond series. The 26th instalment called No Time To Die.
The Antagonist To Come
Rami is set to play the role of, “Safin”, although there is much to learn about the character, he might just end up being one of the most difficult characters we’ve seen yet.
Here’s what Rami had to say about the character, “Safin is a formidable adversary” he also noted that the character might come off as “Unsettling”.
I am personally looking forward to seeing what Safin is capable of. In the trailer released, Safi tells Bond “We both eradicate people to make the world a better place. I just want to be a little tidier,” This could mean that Safin might be a problem not just to Bond himself but many other people.
No Time To Die
We are probably going to be on the edge of our seats as it shows James Bond’s services enlisted to save a kidnapped scientist, while simultaneously trying to battle Rami Malek’s character, Safin.
The movie has finally been set for a release date of April 2nd of 2021. This is the third official release date. This is due to the movie’s original getting affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
David Craig Set To Leave
The movie would be the fifth and final movie for David Craig in the James Bond series. It would be sad to see the veteran bow out, of course, but he believes another person should have a go. Another reason would probably be that at this point in his life, some things are more important than others.
Craig had great intentions for his co-star going into the movie. He disclosed in an interview that he wants Rami Malek to feel comfortable going into the movie. Although, Rami did not need to be pampered. Craig reportedly said, “He(Rami) was ready to go.”
The Egyptian-American actor is no baby in the industry either with well-deserved fame. Rami has landed roles like Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody and Elliot in Mr Robot series, winning him multiple awards. Rami also plays the lead role in a thriller anthology podcast called Blackout.
