Birdperson Faced His Fate Even After Knowing He Will Die In His Own Marriage
Birdperson learned of his destiny at a young age to be murdered at his wedding. According to his one-shot comic Rick and Morty Presents: Birdperson. He nevertheless followed the forgotten path to his death. Birdperson knows he’s going to die on his journey to become a man. But does nothing to distract from his fate.
Birdperson would be remembered to fans as the humorless, stoic friend of Rick, finally introduced to Tammy.
An undercover agent who would later kill him at their wedding. Tammy claimed to be a friend of Rick’s granddaughter in order to gather together Birdperson and Rick’s mutual associates. A secretly Galactic Federation agent planning to capture – or destroy – Rick’s old revolutionary gang. Birdperson was later resurrected fatally as the weaponized cyborg Phoenixperson. At the behest of the Federation, aimed like a gun at Rick. In the comics, though, Birdperson knew all that was ahead of him and went anyway ahead. He was trapped in the course that destiny had set for him.
In Rick and Morty Presents: on Birdperson’s world, Flipflap-12, Birdperson, Alex Firer and Fred C. Stresing introduced a giant vulture-like demon. It wants to consume the soul of Birdperson. But this Vultureperson wants Birdperson .He tells Birdperson that before his marriage, where Vultureperson will feast on his soul. As he has with all of Birdperson’s ancestors, he won’t allow him to die.
“I shall snap the neck of anyone who robs me of your perfect death. Now fatten up your spirit with age,” Vulturperson says.
Fate Of Birdperson
The fate of Birdperson supports him in the comic as he helps Rick avoid his pursuers of the Federation. Rick usually only wants to support himself. He tries to charge his portal gun, leaving the Federation with the Birdpeople. He is confronted by Birdperson. The two establish a friendship (even though its basis is in the falsehoods of Rick). But when the two enter the Federation to fight, the captain of the ship sets off a self-destruct button. It appears to seal the death of Rick and Birdperson. Luckily, the aforementioned vulture demon intervenes. It saves Birdperson, who is not able to have a young soul’s light snack.
Curiously, in his fateful glimpse into his future, Birdperson’s rebirth as Phoenixperson is not included. Birdperson never realized he was going to be resurrected. Even though he was a cyborg with a special goal. It was to destroy Rick. Rick was nearly defeated by Phoenixperson in the episode. But he managed to shut him down and hold him in a garage before he could find out how to save his friend.
In this new sense, it’s likely that the soul of Birdperson has already been devoured and the cyborg husk is all that is left. Perhaps as Phoenixperson, Birdperson was not given a vision of his life. Simply because he has no soul left over or a consciousness beyond what is programmed.
Either way, Rick and Morty’s fans now know that on the morning of Birdperson’s wedding. Even though he never expected it to come from his bride. He must have known what was coming from him.
