Ryan Dorsey Shares His Grief On Naya Rivera’s Death: On 8th July, a tragedy struck at Lake Piru when Glee fame Naya Rivera went missing while her 4-year-old son Josey was sleeping on the boat. After days of search, the officials found her body in the depth of the lake.
In the midst of this, her ex-husband Ryan Dorsey did not say a thing. However, recently, Dorsey took Instagram to open up about his grief over Naya’s untimely death. Let us get into the details of Ryan’s grief.
Life Is Unfair
It was indeed heartbreaking to lose the 33-year-old actress earlier this month. Naya’s ex-husband, Ryan opened up about losing Naya, his ex-wife and best friend. He wrote:
“This is so unfair… there are not enough words to express the whole left in everyone’s hearts. I can’t believe this is life now. I don’t know if I’ll ever believe it. You were just here.”
In his long Instagram caption, Ryan poured out his feelings about his Meep that’s right, Ryan called Naya his Meep. The post was indeed heartbreaking on all aspects.
Always And Forever
Despite being divorced, Ryan and Naya were amazing parents to their son, Josey. They shared joint custody and were happy in their lives. Moreover, they went on trips with Josey so that he’d have the experience of being with both parents and won’t feel obligated to choose one.
In his Instagram post, Ryan told the readers that just a day before Naya disappeared, the family had fun and swam together. He wrote:
“You were just here… we were just here swimming with Josey the day before.”
He even thanked Naya for the greatest gift she gave him, their son Josey. He further added:
“I am thankful for our times and our journey that brought us together and gave us the sweetest and kindest smart little boy we could ever hope for.”
While Ryan and Naya were divorced, that didn’t hold them back when it came to raising Josey. However, now that Josey’s lost his mother and Ryan his Meep, Ryan has to raise Josey on his own.
He further added:
“I have hundreds and probably thousands of snaps and videos that Josey will have forever and know his momma loved him more than life, and how much fun we had together as he was growing up. Life is all about good times and bad times, but with Josey, it makes the bad a little less so because a part of you will always be with us. He’ll never forget where he came from. We miss you. We will always love you. Love you Meep.”
