Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
It seems like Nintendo is a bit sluggish in choosing characters for “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate”. It’s quite evident when the game’s timeline is seen. But it seems as if they have learned from their past mistakes. If they want to delight fans, this is the best chance. As a result, they may do so by adding Tifa from Final Fantasy VII Remake as part of the Fighters Pass 2. In June, when upcoming Arms Character is being released, the next character should be released by early autumn. This could be Tifa from Final Fantasy 7.
Tifa: A Fan’s Favourite
Final Fantasy 7 released for PS4 on April 10. In FF7, we were introduced to characters like the Cloud Strife. Cloud Strife will also be added with one of his closest friends- Tifa Lockhart. Cloud Strife is already a part of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. So speculations are that Tifa will also be released as a part of the game. Tifa, who has excellent acrobatic skills, has immense pace and power. But she has quite a poor defensive and range skills. But, this makes her an ideal choice for both Final Fantasy 7 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In previous interviews, Super Smash game Director said that characters are chosen from polls conducted both domestically and internationally. So it shows Tifa is a fan favourite.
Tifa: What Makes Her An Ideal Choice?
As I said earlier, it’s Tifa’s attacking stats that makes her top the chart. She is immensely fast, has a frightening pace, excellent acrobatic skills and above all, powerful. This affects the defences as the defensive stats get a bit lower. But in games like FF7, the defense doesn’t matter much when you have such attacking skills. Rather opponents should have a tight defense to stop such counters. Overall, FF7 isn’t complete without Tifa and couldn’t be more perfect with Tifa.
