After the success of the Buds Air, Realme has officially launched the next version in the series. Titled Buds Air Neo, the wireless headphone was officially launched in the Indian market on 25th May 2020. The Buds Air was highly successful and was among the top 10 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) of 2020.

Following the Buds Air, Realme has officially launched the next TWS model. Surprisingly, the Buds Air Neo has been priced at a rate lower than the Buds Air. The Buds Air was launched with a starting price of Rs 4,999/-. Originally started by Applethe AirPods have instantly become a global sensation. Every tech giant made it a point to produce and release their own set of AirPods for every particular target audience.

Thought the Buds Air Neo is a lighter version of the Buds Air, there are many changes to look forward to.

Realme Buds Air Neo: What To Expect?

Judging by the price, it is obvious that the Buds Air Neo is a lighter version of the Buds Air.


There is nothing to differentiate between the two when it comes to designing. Both share the same design including the case in which the buds come in. However, in the Buds Air Neo, there isn’t an air vent at the top of the buds unlike the Buds Air. The Buds Air Neo will be available in three different color variants: Red, Green, and White.

Bluetooth 5.0

The Buds Air Neo comes with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. It is fitted with the R1 chip customized especially for the Buds Air Neo


The Buds Air Neo will have 17 hours of total battery backup feature.

Super Low Latency Mode

You will get the option for Super Low Latency Mode in the Buds Air Neo. This will reduce your latency by 50% compared to normal mode. The Gaming Mode Super Low Latency will offer a latency up to  119.3m/s

Touch Sensitivity

The Buds Air Neo comes with Touch Sensitivity. Therefore, you can double-tap to Play/Pause music and answer a call. It also comes with a dual-mic feature for calling fitted with environmental noise cancellation. If you hold your tap for long, you will be able to access Google Assistant


The Buds Air Neo is fitted with a 13mm Large Bass Sound Booster Driver.
