After enjoying tremendous success in the first three seasons, smash-hit Japanese anime has announced The Seven Deadly Sins Season 4. After almost a gap of three years, Netflix will be releasing the fourth season titled “The Seven Deadly Sins: Anger’s Judgement” later this year in October 2020.
The Seven Deadly Sins Season 4: Will It Be The End?
There have been no official announcements regarding the end of the anime. With over 110 more chapters remaining, the show is very much likely to be renewed for one final season. But as per the rumours that have surfaced, season 4 could very much be the end of Nakaba Suzuki’s most famous creation.
The fourth season of the Japanese anime will hit TV Tokyo in October 2020. Simultaneously it will also be available on Netflix for viewers all across the globe. But in the wake of the chaos caused by the outbreak of the COVID-19, the release may be delayed.
The Seven Deadly Sins Season 4: Plot
As the title suggests, the fourth season is likely to witness the end of the Holy war. With one final battle remaining between The Seven Deadly Sins and The Demon King, this season could determine the future of Meliodas and Elizabeth. Season 3 saw the return of Meliodas cruelly putting an end to the commander of the Ten Commandments, Fraudrin. After becoming the devil at the end of season 3, it will be interesting to see which side Meliodas chooses to stay.
The third season left the viewers with a lot of loose ends. As the suspense unfolds, all the terms will be tied up in the upcoming season. The fans are eager to watch their favourite group of Holy Knights back in action. The writers have hinted at the beginning of the next Holy War and putting light on Merlin’s history and knowledge.
Will There Be A Season 5?
The possibility of Netflix renewing “The Seven Deadly Sins” for the 5th season is unlikely. In the hit anime created by Nabaka Suzuki, there are only about 110 chapters that remain. Thus, the show getting another season does not look on the cards as of now.
