TikTok Prefers To Keep Its Source Code Secret
TikTok Parent ByteDance Decided Not To Sell Its Algorithm To The US Government: TikTok’s parent ByteDance has confirmed that it would not sell its algorithm video behind the video-sharing app to the US. Also, it would not get divested to any third party.
The company has firmly decided to keep its source code secret. It wouldn’t get shared with any other company. However, the US-based technology team has the right to create its unique one. They can build a new algorithm with their creativity and knowledge. It mentioned that it would be a context for the sale of the company’s US forte.
A TikTok Deal Doesn’t Seem Practical Right Now
However, TikTok and ByteDance did not react to various requests for comment by the media.
Charles Gasparino, the Fox reporter tweet reads that a deal regarding TikTok would be possible only on mutual negotiations between China and the US government.

As the tension between the two nations escalates, a deal doesn’t seem practical right now.
